2024 Mary and Joseph Life Center (MJLC) Outputs and Achievements
- 98 educational workshops/seminars implemented, empowering 2,232 women in informal urban settlements/slums with supportive guidance: psychological, spiritual and economic livelihood resilience (holistic livelihood resilience capacity, survival skills and mechanisms).
- 941 pregnant girls and women benefitted from Ultrasound (Sonogram)
- 197 children born from MJLC Crisis Pregnancy Interventions.
- 275 clients (individuals and groups) engaged in more holistic and intensive Counselling.
- Supporting and Empowering women and children from 14 informal urban settlements or slum areas – Kawangware, Kabiria, Satelite, Kangemi, Dagoretti, Waithaka, Dagoretti, Ngando, Mtego, Mutuini, Kibera, Mathare Kariobangi, and Korogocho in Nairobi, Kenya (Approximate population is around 2 million people)
